Conditions
of Agreement: |
| 1. |
Independent
contractor. The Consultant is an independent contractor
and retains all rights to and interest in any and all work
product Consultant creates for the purpose of this training.
Course material may not be photocopied, distributed, customized
or transmitted in any form by Client or its associates, without
the express written consent of the Consultant. |
| 2. |
Audio/Visual
requirements. Consultant will need to tie into the
house sound system with her mixer and CD player. A wireless
lavaliere microphone is to be provided along with flip chart/markers.
If a PowerPoint presentation is to be used a Projector will
also need to be provided. |
| 3. |
Handouts.
The Client will receive a master copy of the participant handouts/workbook
and will be responsible for providing the appropriate number
of copies for participants. |
| 4. |
Letter
of Recommendation. If you are pleased and the evaluations
reflect that the consultant did a good job for you a Letter
of Recommendation will be provided. |
| 5. |
Travel.
Consultant will book the ticket as far in advance as possible
to secure the lowest possible rate. Consultant will never
take the last flight out or attempt to take a flight that
is scheduled to arrive just before your event. |
| 6. |
Expenses.
The client is responsible for airline/transportation, mileage,
hotel and meal expenses along with any meeting supplies. |
| 7. |
Payments.
50% of the fee is due at the time of booking with the remaining
fees due five business days prior to the event. |
| 8. |
Cancellation.
If this engagement is canceled by the sponsoring organization,
a $500 cancellation fee plus any and all incurred expenses
will be due. |
| 9. |
Final
agreement. This agreement constitutes the final understanding
and agreement between the parties with respect to the subject
program and supersedes all prior negotiations, discussions,
understandings, and agreements between the parties, whether
written or oral. This agreement may be amended, supplemented,
or changed only by an updated agreement in writing, signed
by both of the parties. Either party, upon written notice
to the other, may suspend this contract indefinitely, if performance
is impossible or inadvisable due to war, strikes, terrorism
or a threat of terrorism, natural disaster or other catastrophe
outside the control of the parties. |
